"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage had everything we needed and the welcome pack was a great touch. Boys loved playing in the garden, great for their remote control cars! Great trip to Mull of Galloway climbed the steps to the top, good views of the bay and out to the Isle of Man etc. The drive was just as spectacular. Logan gardens were beautiful even if not in full bloom yet. Boys loved Cocoa Bean factory, great for a wet or dry day. Monreith beach was lovely, definitely take the golf club (St Medan's) entrance. Galloway Forest Park has been great lochs, red deers, red squirrels, wild goats and peace and quiet. Lovely clean accommodation. Friendly welcome and much appreciated 'hamper' to tide us over until our delivery from Asda. Drive to Mull of Galloway lighthouse worth the trip. Also try the Forest drives through Galloway Forest. Any car can cope. Take a picnic to eat by Otters Loch. Enjoyed the tea rooms at the Isle of Whithorn, very friendly people.
